More than 5,000 attendees, over 200 exhibitors and 240 speakers are expected in Barcelona from 3 to 5 November 2026 for Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress, one of the major international events dedicated to transforming urban mobility. InfoMediu Europa will be present in Barcelona to explore the solutions, technologies and policies that are already beginning to reshape the way European cities approach transport and infrastructure.
The sixth edition of Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress (TMWC) will take place at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue under the theme “Mobility solutions, real impact.” Co-organised by Fira de Barcelona and EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, the congress aims to move the conversation about the future of mobility from concepts to solutions capable of delivering tangible results in cities.
For an environmental publication, this discussion is particularly relevant as urban mobility is increasingly intertwined with climate policies, resource use and the circular economy.
This year’s agenda will address topics including Mobility Data Spaces, Mobility as a Service (MaaS), curbside and parking management, autonomous mobility, next-generation public transport and the management of urban space during the transition to e-mobility. Of particular relevance to the circular economy will be the management of battery waste and its integration into a circular model for electric mobility.
From technology to the real city

Tomorrow.Mobility 2026 will be much more than a congress. Its exhibition area and Innovation Playground will showcase solutions from across the mobility ecosystem, while the Startup Zone will put emerging technologies and platforms in the spotlight, creating opportunities for collaboration and investment.
The programme will unfold across three dedicated stages – Main Stage, Move better Stage and Shaping mobility Stage – with confirmed speakers including Lukas Neckermann, founder of Urban Places Lab and co-founder of PAVE Europe; Axel Volkery, Head of the Innovation and Urban Mobility Unit at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE); and Teresa Riesgo Alcaide, Secretary General for Innovation at the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
The scale of the event is further amplified by Tomorrow.Mobility taking place alongside Smart City Expo World Congress, Tomorrow.Blue Economy, Barcelona Deep Tech Summit and Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress. Together, these events are expected to bring more than 1,000 exhibitors and over 25,000 attendees to Fira de Barcelona, turning the venue into a major international meeting point for technologies and policies shaping the cities of tomorrow.
InfoMediu Europa in Barcelona
InfoMediu Europa will be present at Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress 2026, as part of the collaboration developed with EIT Urban Mobility to promote the event and provide editorial coverage of the key topics discussed in Barcelona.
Our coverage will focus particularly on the point where mobility and environmental policy meet: transport decarbonisation, the circular economy of batteries, infrastructure for electric mobility, solutions for reducing the environmental impact of urban transport, and technologies that could also find practical applications in Romanian cities.
Beyond figures, technologies and concepts, we will take one very concrete question with us to Barcelona:
How much of the urban mobility Europe is discussing today can become a reality in Romania in the years ahead?
