Organised by HUNGEXPO, a member of the international GL Events Group, and co-organised by the Hungarian Association of Environmental Enterprises, ENVIRONTEC has a clear ambition to connect the environmental technology market with the people and organisations driving its development.
The exhibition will address a broad range of issues that are high on the environmental industry agenda today. Industrial emissions, air quality protection, water retention, climate adaptation, the circular economy, waste management, green energy and digitalisation will all have a prominent role at the 2026 event. These topics reflect not only the most pressing challenges faced by industry and municipalities, but also the direction of evolving European Union regulations, particularly in areas such as industrial emissions and ESG.
The international character of the exhibition will be further strengthened by the Czech Republic, the official guest country of ENVIRONTEC 2026. Czech companies will participate with the coordination of the Czech Trade Promotion Agency, opening the door to new professional and business connections between companies and organisations from the Czech Republic, Hungary and the wider region.
The exhibition will also be supported by an extensive professional program. Conferences and side events will provide a platform for discussing practical responses to some of the sector’s most urgent questions. The Hungarian Association of Environmental Enterprises will address industrial emissions, the future of waste management, remediation and brownfield development. The Hungarian Water and Wastewater Technology Association will focus on water-conscious responses to climate change, while HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency will organise an international business meeting designed to encourage cross-border business partnerships.
The importance of the event is also reflected in the support of Mr. László Gajdos, Minister for the Living Environment of Hungary, who will serve as the Chief Patron of the exhibition. His patronage highlights the role ENVIRONTEC seeks to play bringing together professional, business and institutional stakeholders around the challenges and opportunities of environmental protection and sustainable development.
More than a showcase of technologies, ENVIRONTEC powered by ÖKOINDUSTRIA aims to become a place where ideas turn into partnerships and professional dialogue into concrete opportunities. For small and medium-sized enterprises in particular, the exhibition offers a chance to enter new markets, build international networks and explore potential business cooperation.
With the event just around the corner, ENVIRONTEC powered by ÖKOINDUSTRIA invites environmental professionals to Budapest this October to discover, connect and shape the future of the environmental industry together.
Free professional visitor registration is now open.
