On behalf of the Executive Committee, we regret to inform you that the IV.IREMCON International Environmental Conference scheduled to be held between April 2-3, 2020 in Bucharest, Romania is rescheduled to 30 September-1 October, 2020.
This decision was made after a close review of guidance by global health authorities and out of an abundance of caution and is solely based on the current global COVID-19 epidemic. The decision was difficult but necessary considering the safety and health for the host city Bucharest and large number of participants from over 10 countries. It is our sincere wish that this global epidemic which caused a major disruption in international activities will be over shortly.
Please be noted that the organization works for the Conference are already underway and the will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel, Bucharest, Romania between 30 September-1 October, 2020 with the main theme of “Improving International Cooperation and Investment Opportunities in Waste Management” with participation of representatives from the Balkan countries.

4th IREMCON International Environmental Conference will be held in Bucharest-Romania between April 2-3, 2020, in cooperation with IFAT Eurasia and with the participation of the delegates from BALKAN countries.
The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization of Republic of Turkey, members of the High Advisory Board of the Presidency and MPs from the Environment Commission of the Turkish Grand National Assembly are expected to grace the conference with their presence.
On March 28-29, 2019, a large number of delegates from Turkey and various countries such as Hungary, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Germany, Kosovo, Romania, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine participated in the 3rd IREMCON – International Environmental Conference held in Istanbul.
